An evening of glorious poems by William Blake, Rupert Brooke, Dante, T.S. Eliot, John Keats, Rudyard Kipling, Philip Larkin, Gerald Manley Hopkins, Andrew Marvell, John Milton, Dorothy Parker, Alexander Pope, Samuel Taylor Coleridge, Alfred Lord Tennyson, Dylan Thomas and more. 

Readers:

Sophie Cookson’s breakout role was as Roxy in the Kingsman films. She recently starred in The Confessions of Frannie Langton, & previously The Trial of Christine Keeler. In Red Joan she played young Joan to Dame Judi Dench’s older Joan. Her Dottie in Killer Joe, opposite Orlando Bloom, in the West End won critical acclaim.

Sinéad Cusack began her career at The Abbey Theatre, Dublin, before joining the Royal Shakespeare Company, where she played many leading roles. Her awards for Best Actress include Irish Times Theatre Award, Clarence Derwent Award, Evening Standard & Critics’ Circle Awards & multiple Olivier & Tony Award Nominations.

Jeremy Irons trained at Bristol Old Vic Theatre School, graduating to the Bristol Old Vic Company, & the Royal Shakespeare Company. His film & theatre credits & awards are legion, & include the rare Triple Crown of an Oscar, an Emmy & a Tony Award. He starred in the original film adaptation of Josephine Hart’s Damage directed by Louis Malle.

Wilf Scolding is best known for his roles in Star Wars: AndorGame of Thrones, & Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets of Dumbledore. He also plays a long running character in The Archers for BBC Radio 4.

Rish Shah starred in the recent Netflix series Obsession, an adaptation of Josephine Hart’s novel Damage, & in the Ms. Marvel series. Stage appearances include Catcher in the Rye, Twelfth Night, Disappearing Number & East.
