Juliet Stevenson
Juliet Stevenson, CBE joined the Royal Shakespeare Company from RADA where she won the coveted Gold Bancroft Medal. She is an acclaimed classical actress at both the RSC and the Royal National Theatre. In 1992 her West End performance in ‘Death and The Maiden’ won the Laurence Olivier Award for Best Actress. Her fifth Olivier nomination was for her acting in ‘Duet for One’ in 2009, and she has also received three nominations for the BAFTA TV Award for Best Actress. In film, her performance in ‘Truly, Madly, Deeply’ won her the Evening Standard Award for Best Actress. Stevenson’s other film credits include ‘Being Julia’, ‘Pierrepoint’, ‘Breaking and Entering’, ‘Emma’, ‘Bend it Like Beckham’, ‘Mona Lisa Smile’, and ‘Infamous’. Juliet Stevenson was awarded the CBE in 1999 for her services to the British film industry and the London stage.
