Lindsay Duncan

Lindsay Duncan CBE, graduated from the Guildhall School of Music and Drama. Her major roles at the Royal Shakespeare Company, the Royal National Theatre and the Royal Court include award-winning performances in ‘Les Liaisons Dangereuses’ opposite Alan Rickman – she won an Olivier Best Actress Award – and ‘Private Lives’, again opposite Alan Rickman – Olivier Best Actress Award and a Tony Award. In 2008 she starred in ‘That Face’, which transferred from the Royal Court to the West End. Television credits include the series ‘A Year in Provence’, ‘Traffik’, Alan Bleasedale’s GBH, Stephen Poliakoff’s ‘Shooting the Past’ and the role of Lady Longford in the award-winning ‘Longford’. Also in 2008 she played Margaret Thatcher for the BBC.
