Stanley Townsend
Stanley Townsend was born in Dublin. He studied Maths and Engineering at Trinity College, and became a regular member of Trinity Players. He graduated to the professional world of acting, becoming a founding member of Rough Magic Theatre company. He has performed on stage, screen, and radio, for almost forty years. His solo performance of Solar Bones from the novel by Conor McPherson, which debuted at the 2020 Kilkenny Arts Festival, is opening at the Abbey Theatre this autumn.
