Felicity Kendal
Felicity Kendal starred at the Royal National Theatre in Amadeus and Othello opposite Paul Scofield, and On the Razzle and Arcadia. At the Old Vic and in the West End she has starred: opposite Alan Bates in Much Ado About Nothing and Ivanov, for which she won the Evening Standard Award for Best Actress; in Jumpers; The Real Thing; Hapgood; Tartuffe; Heartbreak House; Indian Ink; Waste; The Seagull; Fallen Angels; Humble Boy; Samuel Beckett’s Happy Days; David Hare’s Amy’s View in 2007; and in The Vortex in 2008. Her many film and television performances include the seminal Shakespeare Wallah and the hugely popular series The Good Life. Her autobiography, White Cargo, was published in 1998. She was awarded a CBE in 1995.
